Yeah it hurts but it helps if the person doing it presses on the area after the strip comes off. I don't know why, but it I guess you can concentrate on the pressure instead of the pain?

It hurts really bad the first time but after that it gets easier until there is no pain at all. I like it and makes your hairs finer..

It SUCKS! and hurts like hell!
I don't have the patience to grow hair out enough to wax, I shave. But yes, I have had waxing before and it is uncomfortable.
