Hi Shanu---I have been waxing now for 6 years. A brazilian wax usually removes all of the hair. You can ask to have a small landing strip left. Always go to a spa to have it done the first few times. There is some pain, but the more you have it done the less it seems. You will be naked down in your panty area and will be asked to get in different positions. It lasts usually 4 to 6 weeks. I now only get a wax every 10 weeks. It seems the more you do it the slower your hair grows back. Make sure you trim your hair to 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch before you go. This will help the technician. Usually costs for $60.00 to $80.00 plus I give tip if they were good. Can I have Brazilian Wax if I've almost lost consciousness while they plucked my eyebrows once?
I've never gone to pluck my eyebrows to a salon any more. I do it at home and very rarely. I don't know why I've almost lost my consciousness then, it was very painfull. The woman who was plucking my eyebrows told me I've had very course hair. Everybody tells me Brazilian wax feels so great and I would really like to try it but I have doubts.. Tell me your oppinion please!

I forgot to say take motrin (or any ib profin) 25-30 min before you try to wax. This will reduce pain and swelling. Also make sure you follow the directions on the waxing box.

They have different levels of technicians, so you can choose one in your price range. I've never felt comfortable in a local place. First time i didn't know what to expect, but it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Just be sure to go to someone that is recommended to you. If you go to just anyone they might not be great and you can get bruising and red bumps. I go to the same lady...and each time it gets easier, plus it's friggin sexy! You'll love it! Tipping for a Brazilian Wax when the first time is reduced price?
The regular price is $35 but the first time, it's lowered to $13. I know you are supposed to tip 15-20%. But I don't think a $3 tip is appropriate. Should I tip the 15-20+% of what the regular price would be, or the reduced price?

If it's really bushy, then they'll trim it for you then apply warm wax and strip a portion of your hair at a time using a small piece of cloth until all the vaginal hair is gone. Yes, it is quite painful, but nothing you can't handle. As the sying goes ';NO PAIN, NO GAIN';
Don't shave your pubes if you are going to have one so there will be something to pull off. Good luck, the feeling is very clean and you can come back 3 weeks to a month aftrewards, depends on your hair growth :-)
