I don't wanna go to a salon (too poor) so I'd need to do it myself. Any help is appreciated!!DIY Brazilian Waxing: How to do it?
Trust me: at least the first time get it done by a professional...
I do it regularly but I always go to the beautician. Did it once myself...not an experience I care to repeat.
And mind me: I wax my legs, armpits and arms at home, after purchasing the kit directly from the supplier. But bikini wax? NoooooooDIY Brazilian Waxing: How to do it?
I should warn you -- this isn't easy. First off, you need some good wax. I love the wax strips made by Parissa. You can buy them at your local drug store. They're a bit expensive, however, DON'T buy cheap wax. Especially when you're waxing your bikini area. With the parissa wax strips, they suggest rubbing your hands over the strip to warm up the wax, but I always use a hair dryer. Faster and more effective. Your best friend while you're doing this is going to be a toilet. Bathtub is too low, countertops may be too high. Put on long on a (closed) toilet and try to do little areas at a time. Obviously, be very careful with the more sensitive areas. If the wax starts to get sticky, or all the residue doesn't come off, use baby powder and then wax the area again. Also, you'll get to know which direction the hair growth is for certain spots, so your first time won't be easy and will hurt like hell, but you should get the hang of it after that.
Good luck!
why don't you shave??? it's cheap... and safer!! if you have to wax...get a proper kit! if you can't afford it then shave.... you need to be careful..
i find that duck tape helps.
