Brazilian waxing?

I'm thinking about getting a brazilian wax before my wedding on the 7th. Now thing is.....I'm 39...is that too old? lol


I dunno, its just something I've never had before and I think it might be kinda fun for us. I just don't want to end up with some weird freakin' sores or something!


Any suggestions from those with experience...good or bad???

Yes it can be painful, but it'll be a nice thing to do for your wedding night ;). I've had it done before and it's worth it for your sex life! But be aware that it can sting afterwards and make sure you go somewhere you've had a personal recommendation about. Don't trust a salon unless someone can tell you that they are good from their own experience.

women of all ages get brazilian bikini waxes. it hurts like hell, but you will love the results. to minimize the chances of bad effects DO NOT do it yourself and afterward use a product to keep ingrown hairs at bay. sally hansen ';zero bumps'; pads for underarms and bikini work better than anything else i've tried.
Ouch sounds painful. i would not do it before your wedding because if you have a reaction or something the wedding night may not be very ';FUN'; if you know what I mean. if you would break out your new hubby might be afraid to do anything for the fear that it may break him out or something. you never know how men react to stuff they are men after all. (no offense to men just my opinion) good luck and blessings on your marriage.

They're painful, obviously. The thing I'm worried about since it's your first is that you'll be really sensitive (skin) and you may have some irritation for the first few days. If you get one, do it at least 3 days beforehand so that your skin will have time to settle down.

I always get it done once a month. Take some pain killers before you go or drink a bottle of wine! But really the pain isnt that bad.
