Brazilian waxing question?

I'm going for a Brazilian wax tomorrow and I have a couple of questions -- they might sound stupid, but this is the first time I've had this done.

First, what position are you in when it's done? I've been told two contradictory versions -- that you just lie on your back with your legs apart, or that you support yourself on elbows and knees with your butt in the air.

Second, how sensitive is the skin afterwards? I mean, is it best just not to wear underwear immediately afterwards?

Thanx.Brazilian waxing question?
Ther are numbing creams you can use to dull the pain but i would suggest not wearing underwear... just go in some sweats.

The doggy position - this involves kneeling on all fours on the waxing table. The beautician may also ask you to lean on your elbows and spread your legs wider. You will either feel like a sexy Hollywood porn star or a dog at the vets. In either case, it's best just to relax and think of something else, as opposed to considering what the beautician might be eye to eye with.

The nappy changing position - this involves lying on your back with your legs in the air.Brazilian waxing question?
well it sure does hurt, and yeah their the two positions your meant to be in!

x
Plan on pain!
i have never heard of anyone lying on their back for a brazilian wax. plan on being in the typical doggy style position, sorry to be crude. i would wear underwear, maybe like a boy short style. unless you wear like a pair of yoga pants and don't mind going without. you'll be fine, and your butt will feel like a babies butt when you're done. good luck :)
Listen to Cora-Lou. She's right. I'd wear underwear after if I were you.

  • Do you have to grow your hair out before getting a Brazilian wax?

For how long? And how much do they usually cost?Do you have to grow your hair out before getting a Brazilian wax?
okay so you should grow it out a tiny little bit but you definitely do NOT want your hair to be super long or grown out because then its even worse! its best if you don't have any super short hair but anywhere between 1/2 cm and 1/2 inch is good

as for the cost, the more you get removed, the more it costs.... i used to get mine at bliss for like 75 for a brazilian but after awhile i actually started doing it myself and now i've been doing it forever- it's super convenient and you get it exactly how you want it- i just buy the poetic wax kit from sephora- the entire pkg is like 60 and it lasts for a bunch of waxes...although i def. recommend having someone else do it a couple of times before trying it yourself to get the hang of itDo you have to grow your hair out before getting a Brazilian wax?
You can Brazilian wax a good week 1/2 after you just shaved, or 2 to 3 weeks, since your last brazilian wax. Brazilian Waxing shouldn't hurt if done correctly.

Is it cheating if wifey gets a brazilian wax from a dude?

Conversely, is it considered cheating if I get a brazilian wax from a hot broad and she has her hands all over my junk?Is it cheating if wifey gets a brazilian wax from a dude?
If a broad has her hands on your junk that's called a Brazillian Massage. Tell those DOLT women to keep away from male wax dudes. They are a bunch of queers! Chick on Chick beaver waxing is best.Is it cheating if wifey gets a brazilian wax from a dude?
Brazilian bikini waxes have been ';all the rage'; since the late 90's, but they're certainly not new in the United States. Brazilian waxing was introduced to New York in 1987 by seven Brazilian-born sisters.

So how does it differ from a regular bikini wax? Basically, with the Brazilian, hair is removed in the front, back and everything in between. Most of the time a ';landing strip'; is left in the front, but some clients opt for everything removed.

    So to answer your question....

Your ';junk'; is going to be so dog gone sore it wont perform any function except to lay there and scream out in excrutiating pain cusswords and promises of revenge!!

So if your mad at wifey, take her and sit in a comfy chair and watch
No, that is a huge insecure thing for somebody to say.

It's in the same category as,

AHAHAHAHAH!! What a funny question. Sounds painful too.

well, no. unless something leads to something while she's handling your junk.

    Only if the esthetician is amazing looking, you're at the beach, you're drinking something with pineapple in it, and you just call it ';Getting Waxed.';

    Otherwise, NO.
If it is a professional that is waxing you, no. Now, if it was someone you're interested or someone you would hide from your wife, yes.
Hmmm. I'm not sure about this one. Let me know what you think after your wax. Good luck, and have fun!

Looking forward to your report on this. Make sure you keep me updated.
Ha..Absolutely! That stuff gets under your skin and makes you want to wet the table when they pull back.. UGH! Thats just as good as sex if you ask me.
No only if you get into it if your feel weard about it (no your not cheating if u feel good .....................

Where can I go to get a Brazilian wax for my poodle?

This question needs to be asked in the Beauty %26amp; Style section.... and quit calling it your poodle!Where can I go to get a Brazilian wax for my poodle?
I don't think they wax dogs, there skin is very sensitive. You can take her to be groomed and they would probably be able to shave her fairly close. And so you know for future reference a Brazilian wax is done on the pubic area, and I don't think that any dog or other domesticated animal for that matter should have to be subjected to that in order to please its owner!
She'd probably be docked or thrown out of the dog show for such an alteration. They are extremely strict rules and regulations.
Have you ever had a brazilian wax? If you haven't go get one and see how they feel, then think about f your dog would enjoy that kind of excruciating pain. But lmao at the question :)
you can always go to wal-mart and get the kits and do it yourself! ha ha!
omg to funny, lol ok a groomer a professional dog show groomer
wow if u don't even know wat a poodle needs when being groomed i doubt u should even enter her in the dog show - really go do the brazilian yourself honey,
This is most likely a joke, but just get your dog to a groomer. and dogs dont have hair in THOSE areas,
I think you should get one first. Ask if they'll do it for your dog after.
Okay I almost peed my pants when I read your question. I'm thinking that may hurt your chances.
Then take her to a groomer

It's possible, removing pubic hair can lead to an infection, like when you shave and your hair follicle bleeds, that goes for waxing too,and plus having it done in a public place where billions of germs are lurking. Not to mention the excruciating pain that it causes.

Pubic hair is there for a reason,to protect the sensitive skin and keep out mucousIs it true that a woman died from getting a brazilian wax?
It's harmless if rather painful the first time. Subsequent waxings are much less painful.

Of course you have to observe sensible hygiene. Otherwise wax away - the results are well worth the pain.

PS: when I see women with a brazillian ';landing strip'; in the sauna it always looks soooo fake and stupid to me, because its so unnatural. really square, almost like a hitler or charlie chaplin moustache, haha.

  • Brazilian wax? what does it feel like and what exactly do they wax?

im searching for places to get a brazilian wax done because shaving is horrible!! but i really dont have all the info on it... what gets waxed, how long does it last, how painful is it? any experienced people can answer if you havent got it done or dont know anyone who did dont bother answering please!Brazilian wax? what does it feel like and what exactly do they wax?
My girlfriend gets this done about once a month. They wax all your bits and around your @$$ as well. It doesnt hurt that much if you take a few painkillers, but the pain gets less when you have it done regularly. When she first had it done she got drunk before and that helped alot. But after its done it makes that area look really sexy.Brazilian wax? what does it feel like and what exactly do they wax?
they wax DOWN there and i would never get it done so i do not know what it feels like
take advil or alive 2 hours before you going, shower atleast 3 to 4 hours before, not week before of after your p.

make shure they dont reuse wax
the pain will depend on YOUR personal pain tolerance. If you have a higher pain tolerance, it won't bother you as much.

They wax everything - front to back. Not a hair left in sight. Front and back - Everything up front, everything in between, and everything in the rear. Its not the most pleasant experience.

Waxing lasts a good couple of weeks, about 3 I think is average.
It feel likes having hot wax put on your vagina then having every single little hair ripped out by the root from probably THE most sensitive place of your body.

If you can't take a guess at how much pain that will cause, you're obviously very slow.

Christ sake, no reason to get foul mouthed. Pain can't be measured. Everyone has different pain tolerances. Something painful for you might not be painful for me, and vice versa. All that people can tell you is that its going to hurt like hell. They can't honestly tell you how much its going to hurt, because your pain tolerance is probably different than theirs.

Like someone else said, go after your period. Don't go the week before, nor the week of. Trust me..if you go the week before or the week of, it will probably hurt you twice as much.

As for what gets waxed. Well..you can have all of it down yonder waxed, just your bikini line, hell they even leave a little hair on top and do shapes with it..hearts, lightening bolts, etc etc. You just have to tell them what you want done, what you want waxed off. How long it lasts..well that depends on the person really. It should last a few weeks though.

You shouldn't shave for probably two weeks before you get it waxed; trim, but leave it long enough so that the wax will stick to the hairs. Also with a Brazilian wax...they aren't just doing your ';front';...they're going to get your ';rear'; too.
if you go afteer your period and relax your mustles it doent hurt at all... make sure yu do to a nice good spa though and trim... or else the hairs will break

ithey'll make you wear this crappy underwear and hold your skin... i do not suggest the underwear they are a pain in the ***...
how dumb can u be can u say pain....what do you thing all your hair pulled out at once....a lot of girls like the pain... so ever have the big o......
it feels amzing, and they wax all the brazil.

What does a brazilian wax look like with hair?

Is the hair in some kind of shape? Is it just the sides that are waxed? I dont get it =(What does a brazilian wax look like with hair?
Hi Shanu---I have been waxing now for 6 years. A brazilian wax usually removes all of the hair. You can ask to have a small landing strip left. Always go to a spa to have it done the first few times. There is some pain, but the more you have it done the less it seems. You will be naked down in your panty area and will be asked to get in different positions. It lasts usually 4 to 6 weeks. I now only get a wax every 10 weeks. It seems the more you do it the slower your hair grows back. Make sure you trim your hair to 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch before you go. This will help the technician. Usually costs for $60.00 to $80.00 plus I give tip if they were good. I have found this site which I think will answer some of your questions. http://www.sexy-clothes-cafe.com/sexywax鈥?/a> I hope this has helped. Good luck. J.What does a brazilian wax look like with hair?
A brazillian is everything off. everything. You can ask your waxer for a strip or anything you would like they will do it for u.
a brazillian wax means that you get all the hair waxed off. everything. you're bald down there.
If I'm correct, there is no hair. They take it all off.
hi hunni, it means all the hair goes, from every part of the front bum to the back bum!! It would probably kill getting it done!

    Good luck hunni i hope i helped :D x

Can I have Brazilian Wax if I've almost lost consciousness while they plucked my eyebrows once?

I've never gone to pluck my eyebrows to a salon any more. I do it at home and very rarely. I don't know why I've almost lost my consciousness then, it was very painfull. I forgot to say take motrin (or any ib profin) 25-30 min before you try to wax. This will reduce pain and swelling. Also make sure you follow the directions on the waxing box.

I don't know what you have around you. I'm in Ohio and we have Charles Penzone. If you have one of those around, that's where I would advise. They have different levels of technicians, so you can choose one in your price range. I've never felt comfortable in a local place. I feel like everone would know my business if I went to one, so try going to a spa or salon if you don't have a Charles around.

When getting a brazilian wax, do they remove hair from your labia?

I have removed hair from my bikini area and it hurts. The only thing that is stopping me from getting a brazilian is the thought of pain. When getting a brazilian wax, do they remove hair from your labia?
If you can do the bikini area, you can do the brazilian =o) My first time getting waxed was brazilian, though I get the ';strip tease'; which they just leave a little thin strip of hair. First time i didn't know what to expect, but it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Just be sure to go to someone that is recommended to you. If you go to just anyone they might not be great and you can get bruising and red bumps. I go to the same lady...and each time it gets easier, plus it's friggin sexy! You'll love it! You may be a little sore for that first day, but that's normal, after that you'll be doin bathroom breaks all the time to check out how sexy you look! When getting a brazilian wax, do they remove hair from your labia?
brazillians hurt like hell. I have been thru labor twice and I would do that quicker than I would ever have another brazillan. It makes you dizzy afterwards because your body kicks in so many endorphins to kill the pain.

  • Tipping for a Brazilian Wax when the first time is reduced price?

The regular price is $35 but the first time, it's lowered to $13. I know you are supposed to tip 15-20%. But I don't think a $3 tip is appropriate. Should I tip the 15-20+% of what the regular price would be, or the reduced price?

Also, when do you actually hand the tip to the waxer? (I'm new to this.)Tipping for a Brazilian Wax when the first time is reduced price?

    If it's really bushy, then they'll trim it for you then apply warm wax and strip a portion of your hair at a time using a small piece of cloth until all the vaginal hair is gone. Yes, it is quite painful, but nothing you can't handle. As the sying goes ';NO PAIN, NO GAIN';

Don't shave your pubes if you are going to have one so there will be something to pull off. Good luck, the feeling is very clean and you can come back 3 weeks to a month aftrewards, depends on your hair growth :-)

You can try, but the fact is you can't reach the area properly to do the wax yourself. I have gotten a wax before and they were really professional about it. If you don't want a stranger doing it go somewhere that does waxes and get your eyebrows done. Then if you like the person ask them about brazilian waxes and what they suggest. You might feel more comfortable that way.
Sally Hansen has a great at home brazillian wax kit...though you can try to do it yourself it is very difficult to get those hard to reach places....

FYI...I was extremely modest too with getting my 1st brazillian...but the techs are very professional! Now Ive been getting them for about 2 years now..I'm actually getting laser now in that area (LOVE IT!)

Doing it yourself can be more convenient (no appts lol) but you also run the risk of pulling the hair wrong %26amp; getting ingrowns, burning or ripping the skin, irritating the skin (awful red bumps), or not getting all the hair.

I always found spas to be the best places....they did the best job (in %26amp; out within 30 min!) and again were very professional! Try calling and/or talking to the tech...they went to school for this so they're used to seeinf EVERYTHING! =)

dont' go right before or after your period as you're more sensitive. trim your hair so you dont disgust the person doing the waxing. be prepared to be in pain. wear loose fitting pants or a skirt because it will be sore!! and make sure the person who does it wears gloves. oh, and no sex for a couple days after.Brazilian waxing: experiences, lessons learned and advice if you please?
the benefits are that it doesn't grow back as fast as shaving and less grows back so if you keep up with waxing it hurts less and less each time (less hair). also, it's baby soft and feels so clean and fresh when it's done.

And you can get numbed at most places. It's not that big of a deal though really.
    ouch!
if you want professional advice, I have it. Before I would take a client I would talk with them to see how they would tolerate the pain then I would offer them an underarm wax, this is a good way to gauge if they can tolerate the pain. if they withstood this, then I proceeded with the brazilian. Both areas are equally sensitive and the private area a little bit more so. Any good cosmetologist will also explain what to expect, amount of pain, what you can do for pain, prevention of infection, after care, and the next visit or appointment.

Have them practice on one of your eyebrows first. If it hurts too much you don't have to go through with it.

    haha idk?

dana%26lt;33How long will a Brazilian wax last?
it all depends on how much pubic hair you have and how dense and bushy it is. normalltythe first time will last about 4 weeks, and you'll see a little hair after 2-3 weeks. after that it get longer in between times. for me , i am a guy, i can go 8 weeks with just a little bit of growth .
depends on your body, my brazilians last for about 10 days....then it all gets annoying!:P

Can you do a Brazilian wax on yourself and how bad is the pain?

I'm not sexually active but I've always preferred the bare look down there since I think it looks cleaner and nicer that way. My question is.. if I do it once and stop doing it, will it itch very badly when the hair starts growing back? Can I actually do it the first time on my own or should I go to a place that does this for my first time? How bad is the pain? And will I have to keep doing this forever because if I let it grow back it will itch like HELL?

Thanks! Can you do a Brazilian wax on yourself and how bad is the pain?
I wouldn't do a brazilian wax by myself, maybe a bikini wax, but definitely not a brazilian because a brazilian gets ALL of the hair from down there, and you wouldn't be at the right angle to rip the strips off yourself. Plus, if you go to a salon, they have numbing cream and professionals that have done it hundreds of times, so it would be much less painful to have it done professionally.

I've never gotten one yet (I'll probably get one next year for my wedding) but I've heard that it hurts pretty bad the first time. Waxing won't make you itch when it grows back. Shaving will. It's the thick stubble that makes it itch and you only get stubble from shaving, not waxing. With waxing, you'll stay smoother much longer, no stubble because brand new hairs grow in, and it will eventually make your hair down there thinner. Waxing is the way to go.Can you do a Brazilian wax on yourself and how bad is the pain?
Wax, and then when it starts growing back, shave.

Honestly, I wouldn't attempt to do it myself, I would have it professionally removed.
bad idea doing a brazilian wax on yourself . I get it done professionalyy.. dont think thats a good idea doing a brazillian on yourself

How much does a brazilian wax cost from a spa ?

I paid 拢20 in a nice (Aveda) salon in a town centre. You can probably go to independent ones and pay between 拢10 and 拢20.

Check if they appear clean, if the therapist washes their hands, has clean towels available, change the paper sheet on which you lie on, use fresh wax applicator sticks, etc. I have heard that some people have caught infections (obviously it is a big pot of wax that has been ';double dipped'; for previous sessions) but you take that risk. What I find most problematic are in-growing hairs that can get infected or blocked.

If it is hygeine you are worried about, why not find a beautician that comes to your home and provide your own pot of wax and applicators and strips etc?How much does a brazilian wax cost from a spa ?

I know that it's normal to have a bit of very light bruising and chafing afterwards, but is there anything I can put on my skin to help it heal more quickly? I know about Tend Skin and baby powder - are there any other products which help? Thanks!I just got a Brazilian wax - what should I put on my skin now?
Put moisturising cream on it - it makes that area really soft and sexy!I just got a Brazilian wax - what should I put on my skin now?
i go to brazilian beauy in brisbane and they have the best products to use after a brazilian wax.....not sure what its called but it is fantastic!!!!! get some !! it sorts out any problems!! i used to get ingrown hairs and i dont anymore.
Baby powder containing cornstarch. It will help keep you dry and minimize rubbing.
Azulene oil - its this blue oil that you put on after waxing. It soothes it like crazy. You can get it at wal mart and pharmacies.

Any guys out there ever had a Brazilian wax?

If so, did you ejaculate while getting it done?Any guys out there ever had a Brazilian wax?
OK, let's just get something clear for all those narrow minded answerers out there. The amount of hair your do or don't have on your body and the amount you choose to remove or don't choose to remove or not remove is no reflection of your sexuality or gender identification. Waxing and hair removal for both genders is something of a fashion and the fashion will probably go back to being hairy eventually. Right, now I've got that sorted, I can get on to answering your question.

Yes, I have had 2 experiences of full Brazilian waxing and by coincidence I have an appointment for another session in a few days. Being waxed, even in that area of the body is NOT a sexual experience (for most people) and it's not a pleasantly sensual experience at all. So, to reach the point of orgasmic ejaculation is just not going to happen. The place I go to makes it quite clear on its website and when you go for the appointment that inappropriate behaviour or words will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of the treatment. You will find that any reputable salon will have a similar policy.

The only thing is, the simple physical handling of your intimate area by the beautician (especially if that person is attractive to you) can cause some physical arousal. The salons expect this and if you are planning on having a Brazilian/Hollywood wax, you shouldn't worry if it happens at the start of the treatment. The pain, though not unbearable at all, should be enough to make you forget any sexual arousal you may experience.

The results of such a waxing treatment are very worthwhile and I'd recommend it to anyone.Any guys out there ever had a Brazilian wax?
There is nothing hotter than a man who has manscaped and had a Brazilian bikini wax. Very manly and smokin hot indeed!

    EDIT: Uhhh..%26gt;Ben G, it's called sarcasm.
My nephew Jon D ( he of the big nose) apparently has it done weekly. His BF, Sonny doesn't like him all hairy around his business.
How is that manly? No hair = non manly. just like gay guys who wax their chest.
dude that's about as wrong as all those fairies that shave their legs.
    just once had bikini wax
why would a guy get one? only gay guys do that
    Hell no
no.... and NO!,,, ahhh no, no, no................
no way - to both questions

Can I use Orajel cream to numb pain for a Brazilian wax?

I bought Orajel cream, and I'm wondering if I can use it before my wax tomorrow.

I tested a patch of inner thigh cream for allergies, and I got no reaction. Please let me know!! Thanks! Can I use Orajel cream to numb pain for a Brazilian wax?
No, take a couple of advil before the Brazilian Wax. Also go to a painless Brazilian Waxing Salon.

    Help on brazilian waxing?

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where to go. I have decided to get a wax, but everyone tells me its all about the place or person you go to.

    Few other questions:

Will it help the pain if I take shots before?

How long will the results last for?

What should I do for senstive skin?Help on brazilian waxing?
Whenever I'm in Vegas, I go to A Touch of Las Vegas for a Brazilian. You can check them out at http://www.atouchoflasvegasdayspa.com. Personally, I would not suggest taking shots first. The results really depend on your own body...mine usually lasts about 3 weeks.

Does anyone know a good place to get a brazilian wax in Vancouver?

How can I prepare for the pain of a Brazilian wax?

Some say just do it. Some say take a Tylenol. Others say ';antiseptic preparation'; (what is THIS?)

How can I prepare for the pain? How can I prepare for the pain of a Brazilian wax?
You can take tylenol or two ibuprofen beforehand. An 'antiseptic preparation' is a spray on antiseptic that contains a numbing agent like lidocane. Gigi (a brand carried by Sally's Beauty Supply) make a spray specifically for use with waxing.

Personally, I didn't find it that bad the first time I got a Brazilian. It certainly wasn't pleasant, but not worse than a few moments of 'owch' every time the wax was pulled off. It does become less painful every time you get them, provided you go once a month or so.How can I prepare for the pain of a Brazilian wax?
It's like trying to prepare for getting tortured on a rack or burned at the stake. NOTHING can take the pain away. Don't listen to people who tell you it doesn't hurt. It is the worst pain you will ever feel in your life, and I had two babies w/o an epidural
A brazilian wax shouldn't hurt much if done correctly.
I have tried Tylenol and also the topical cream that you are referring to but honestly, it still hurts like the devil. Just know that it will be over soon and the results are SO worth it :-)
2 shots of whiskey before doing it

  • How do I prepare for a Brazilian wax?

I'm 31 weeks pregnant, and because it's become a little hard to maintain things down there myself, I made an appointment to get a Brazilian wax.

I've had several bikini waxes before, but never a Brazilian. Any tips on how to prepare??How do I prepare for a Brazilian wax?
Trim and exfoliate. How do I prepare for a Brazilian wax?
i used to get laser hair treatments and there is this cream in canada called ';Emla'; and it contains anesthecia and u apply it an hour before your treatment and cover it with seran wrap to ensure the cream stays on. it doesnt stop completely the pain but helps!! ask ur pharmacist for something similar or call the place where ur going and tell them to suggest a cream like such.
okay.. same problem with my girlfriend..

lol i offerd to shave it for her... but yeah.. she wasnt intrested.

what she did was got a long bath scrubber and some vanilla body wash.

and sruubbed her.. * vag* .. really well and the anus.

the what you should do it take some of your nice smelly perfum.

and spray down thier.. not DIRECTLY ON THE VAG NO ! just.. you no where.

and WUUULAAA ! you smell beautifully clean down their.

and you are now READY to be Brazilian WAXKED..
Close you eyes and think of England.

Or take an tylenol an hour beforehand.

About how much does it cost to get a Brazilian wax?

Also, how long does it last?

How bad does it hurt?About how much does it cost to get a Brazilian wax?
I believe it costs anywhere from $40 and up(I get mine for $45). If your thinking of getting it done, make sure you go to a clean place. A bad experience may discourage you from having a Brazilian wax in the future and cause you problems from skin infections and ingrown hairs. I think It is best to choose a beauty salon from a word of mouth recommendation or a salon with a good reputation.

As far as the pain goes, its not way too bad, but its not the best feeling in the world. Some areas are a lot more sensitive than others because the skin is thinner.Try to engage in conversation with your beautician during a brazilian wax session as this will help you relax and keep your mind off the waxing. Some places actually sell a numbing cream that you can use before you come in. I'm not too sure if it works, but guess i its worth a shot if you can't really take the pain of waxing well.

The results from a Brazilian wax may last between 3 to 6 weeks depending on your hair regrowth rate. The more often you go, less hair grows back.

Hope this helps =)About how much does it cost to get a Brazilian wax?
It's best to have a look around at all the different places in the area that you live that offer Brazilian waxing and just compare the prices. Make sure that the place you choose is proffesional as you would not want to risk sustaining any injury to that area!

Depending on the type of hair that you have, the hair can start growing back anywhere between 2-4 weeks from when you first get it done.

Personally, the first time I got mine done it was quite painful. Before you go in, take some sort of painkiller and try to be relaxed. Engage in conversation with the person who is waxing you as it may take your mind off the pain and make time pass more quickly :)

    Good luck!

my house hubba hubaa. not really dont comeIs there any place in fairbanks, Ak where i can get a Brazilian wax?
I think the only place I'd trust in town is Hair, Body and Sol. It's my go-to place for massages and really good pedicures. It's very clean and the staff is really nice. I'm actually considering going there myself for waxing, but I haven't as of yet.

Also, if it's your first time, I'd try and find some Relax and Wax No Scream Cream. It's a topical pain reliever that you put on before you go to the salon. And it makes a HUGE difference. I got some in Scottsdale, but I'm pretty sure you can pick some up online.

Honestly, I don't think you're going to find a great place in Fairbanks. We don't even have good Chinese food, so a great bikini wax is unlikely. But I'm sure they'll do a decent job.

What should I do to prepare for a brazilian wax?

Pop pills, trim, etc? Can anyone tell me from experience? Thank you! What should I do to prepare for a brazilian wax?
You can pop pills, but it doesnt hurt that much really. The pain gets less the more times you have it done. Oh, and you will need to trim it a bit. What should I do to prepare for a brazilian wax?
    Take Asprin before you go.
Take painkillers if you're concerned, or get drunk. And definately have a bit of a trim.
go online and get this stuff...no scream cream. it works great. it lessens the pain of the wax
You should def trim, don't get waxed unless there is a little there. Drink lots of water and take 2 advil (or whatever you take, ibuprofin works just as good)! Breathe a big breath before thew wax comes off, you'll do just fine %26lt;3

my mom is an aesthetician (sp?)... make up, massages, waxing, and facials. but she tells me some stories. but just be relaxed, make sure you go after your time of the month. your skin is most sensitive before you're expecting it. and shower. no one wants to wax someone smelly. no offense... but it doesn't hurt. and ask to relieve pain or redness by putting tea tree oil on it afterwards. when my mom waxes my brows, they're hardcore sensitive, she puts oil over the waxed are and applies pressure. it will sooth your skin so it doesn't itch or get red. but just be relaxed and calm! it'll be over with in no time. just think of the benefits :]

    hope that helped.

How can you avoid getting ingrown hairs after brazilian wax?

also.. is it common to get ingrown hairs from a brazilian wax?How can you avoid getting ingrown hairs after brazilian wax?
I have opted for nair bikini cream , i am sick of ingrowns and scars and although its not as easy as getting someone else to do it i dont have any ingrowns from nair! How can you avoid getting ingrown hairs after brazilian wax?
I get ingrown hairs almost every time after a brazilian wax and I know they can be HORRENDOUS! My way of treating them is a bit aggressive and not everyone's cup of tea but it does work. I take the area between my fingers and slice it open with a scalpel. (Serious) Not a lot, just a nick. Then I squeeze it until some blood comes out and releases the small hair, which it generally does after such treatment. It's still sore for a day or so afterwards but it works like a charm. Beats sitting with these big sore lumps all over.
i think that has a lot to do your body physiology. it is not something that everyone has problems with. tmm

When you get a Brazilian Wax, how long does the hair have to be so they can wax it?

I am going to get a brazilian wax soon, for the first time. Usually i shave. I am wondering if anyone knows how long your hair has to be so they can wax it?When you get a Brazilian Wax, how long does the hair have to be so they can wax it?
Just don't be too short... doesn't matter if it's long because they can always cut them short first before waxing... I just got mine done too for the first time last weekend... I'm liking it...When you get a Brazilian Wax, how long does the hair have to be so they can wax it?
Usually between a 1/4 - 1/2 inch long. Check with the establishment before you go.
quarter of an inch or so.. to the point where it lays on your skin as opposed to sticking straight out.. that way they can effectly remove it all.
quarter to half inch. tho some places prefer longer/shorter.
Most salons recomend that your hair be at least a quarter inch to wax.

Maybe not a Brazilian but is that called something else??Brazilian waxing....I wanna try it but I'm really scared. Any suggestions?
Definitely take Tylenol before, and follow the care directions after, but just make sure you do it a few days before you want to show him... in case you are still sore.Brazilian waxing....I wanna try it but I'm really scared. Any suggestions?
The week before your period apparently hurts more.. your skin is more sensitive or something. And if you've never waxed before, it does hurt like crazy haha... A 'true' brazillian doesn't take everything off, they leave a little patch at the top, so you should decide if you want a triangle or landing strip or what (or if you want it completely bare). If you;re really scared to wax you could always just shave it, too. it has the same effect.
when you get your brazilian, just take a couple painkillers, like aspirin or even something stronger.

Can a beauty therapist tell me how do you do a brazilian wax?

Can a beauty therapist please tell me a step by step guide to performing a brazilian wax on another person, including what positions the person should be in, how to strech the skin to ensure as little pain as possible ( especially around the lips) and any other useful information to ensure the best possible results. Also i would like to know how far up a 3/4 leg wax goes up to. ThanksCan a beauty therapist tell me how do you do a brazilian wax?
I am not waxing professional, but I have had the brazilian wax done to me quite a few times. It's pretty simple as long as you keep the patient in a comfortable setting/environment. Just be sure to keep that skin warm when waxing, and ensure that you dont burn your patient. Also make sure that you take your time!!!! The patient/customer came there to leave feeling great, not with terrifying pain.

When you are waxing, wax off the hairs in the opposite direction of hair growth. If there hairs are more than a quarter inch in length, I highly recommend you trim those hairs. If not the pain level only inreases. If the hairs are less then one-eighth of an inch in length then the customer should let them grow out a little more. When you do wax the hairs off, gently push or pull the skin in the opposite direction that you are waxing.

I recommend you just watch a video on it or something. If you can practice on someone first, then great. Remind your customers to be well hydrated when getting waxed because you dont want them to have dry skin when you are waxing, and make sure they have not tanned recently either. You dont want that skin to be peeling off afterwords. When you are done waxing just apply so nice lotion or after waxing formula to the skin to help with any possibly reddness, swelling, or whatever.

Attached I will include a link to a video that has an example of a girl (probably in her mid 20's) getting her brazilian wax. Everything down there is shown, but I do want you to know this video was not meant to be a porn video...more like a live how to guide i guess. If you are offended seeing a girl get her brazilian wax, dont watch. I doubt thats the case though considering this new hobby of yours...

How often do you women get a brazilian wax?

How often do you women get a brazilian wax, if you even get one at all? Please explain why do you get them and why some dont. Are there certain types that get them (the rich, ditsy, pretty girl type...strippers, sl*tty types, or just all types)? Is it easier for women during sex experimentations or activities? How often do you women get a brazilian wax?
i don't really think it would be easier for sex unless it would make you more comfortable.. or in my case that is what my guy wants.. some grooming down there

and i think most girls at least maintain some for of grooming be it trimming, shaving or waxing How often do you women get a brazilian wax?
anyone can do it you dont have to be any of that,

usually they get it about a month or so because the hair starts to grow back in 3 weeks (with no maintenance ).If you maintain it you can keep it that way for a longer.

Never have, not appealing to me to get any kind of waxing down there

I have mine shaved into the shape of a heart.

    Husband loves it!

the ones who r too dammm lazy too shave!!!! lol
I don't get them. I'm only 15 so there's really no reason for me to get one.

Can you get chlamydia from getting a brazilian wax?

I went to school to study Esthetics. (skincare and hair removal) We would do brazilian's on each other. The teachers told us that double dipping our sticks in a wax pot could transfer disease. We were all students so the thought was there but we were also learning too. The problem is that my doc said that you can only get this through intercourse. Is this possible? Can you get chlamydia from getting a brazilian wax?
Your Doc is absolutely correct, chlamydia can only be transferred via sexual intercourse. Can you get chlamydia from getting a brazilian wax?
OK, S.T.D. Sexually Transmitted....hints the S and the T...your doctor was right. Although some cases are through mouth, skin to skin...but NOT double dipping your wax stick. No it is not possible.
    YOUR DOCTOR IS RIGHT!
    No, it isnt possible.

Should I schedule a Brazilian wax 1 week after 1st day or last day of my period?

I understand the thing to do is to wait a week or two after your period so that the skin is less sensitive but I'm wondering if that refers to 1 week after the first day or 1 week after the last day. I would assume it's the last day but I want to get a full body wax very soon. Do you think I could get away with it one week after the first day without screaming my head off?Should I schedule a Brazilian wax 1 week after 1st day or last day of my period?
I think it's actually one week after the start of your period. Your hormones are calmer and your sensitivity is reduced. It depends on your pain tolerance and whether or not you've had this done before. You should be fine if you do it a week after the start.

What has been anyone experience with a Brazilian wax?

    How painful was it?

Is it worth keeping it up for the cost?

Does it really help slow down the hair growth? What has been anyone experience with a Brazilian wax?
I get them every other month, it does last a long time and I totally think it's worth it, but it depends on your pain threshold.

The first strip is always the worst and after that it isn't so bad. A lot of salons use a cold compress right after they pull the wax which helps so so so much, so ask your technician if they offer that or can make a cold wash cloth to press the skin after the wax is pulled.

The price varies a lot I have paid from 35-70 bucks and I have noticed a difference in the regrowth time and thickness. I would give it a shot, you'll never know til you try! What has been anyone experience with a Brazilian wax?
i have, i get it done most months. the first 2 strips are the worst, but then i have found of the ppl start talking it is not as bad becaus ethey distract you. yes it is def. worth it because it means that you dont have to bother to fix up down there all the time - it costs me about $50 a month. yip i have found it slows down the growth.
    Ouch!!!

I can't believe that I paid that much money for that torture.

I would never do it again even if it was free.

p.s. they do the rear area too

    ouchy, ouch!
YES! It's a little painful (depending on how think your hair is, it can be really bad I hear) but the hair did not start growing back for a MONTH!!
    Don't do it!

I did it once and it hurt sooooooooooo bad.

I will NEVER do it again.

  • Bikini and Brazilian waxing: Antisepic numbing gel?

Does the antiseptic numbing gel some salons use actually help with the pain? Is there anyone out there from the Kansas City, MO area that can reccomend a salon for a wax? Thanks!!!Bikini and Brazilian waxing: Antisepic numbing gel?
The topical analgesic some salons use for bikini waxes does help with the sting, yes. But honestly, it's NOT that bad! If you're worried about it, take a few ibuprofen tablets before you go.Bikini and Brazilian waxing: Antisepic numbing gel?
Hi, I haven't found any of the antiseptic numbing gels to work. I have tried a variety of them and not even the expensive ones work.

    Questions about brazilian waxing?

I understand that is it going to hurt. What I want to know is when the hair starts to grow back does it itch as bad as it would if I were to shave? Does it get as red and bumpy? And is 70 dollars too much to get it done? The one I have found online has a lot of good reviews and recommendations. I want to get my moneys worth and not get a ';get what you paid for'; result.Questions about brazilian waxing?
It might itch and usually if you haven't waxed before, you can get ingrown hairs. If you exfoliate regularly, you shouldn't have a problem. Make sure that the area you are having waxed has a hair growth of at least 1/4 inch and after the initial appointment, do not have the same area waxed for at least 1 month. Also, it doesn't really hurt that badly and if you go to a good salon they should have a topical anesthetic they apply before they start.Questions about brazilian waxing?
No, red and bumpy is from shaving. it depends where you are from, but $70.00 is not bad for a good job. It shouldn't itch like shaving.
Hi I'm a beauty therapist and I would say $70 is fair. No it does not grow back bumpy or itchy and it shouldnt grow back for 3-6 weeks. Its good that you have researched it well done and your right, pay that bit more and you will get a much better standard...you wouldnt want anything to tear!

You can get some ingrowing hairs, so regularly exfoliate the area in the shower and keep it moisturised too. :)

What should I do in order to prepare for a Brazilian wax?

I'm getting my first one and I'm a bit nervous.

Oh, and how long should I wait after my period before getting it? I was told there was a time frame I should wait? What should I do in order to prepare for a Brazilian wax?
Be prepared for it to hurt, but not for long. You are more sensitive after your period so wait at least a week before going. My lady suggested I get mine a few days before my period is due because this is when it will hurt the leastWhat should I do in order to prepare for a Brazilian wax?
Have your money ready to be wasted on an unnecessary and painful procedure.

Im so glad I never got into that crazy fad.

How much should I tip the lady that does my Brazilian wax?

So I got my first brazilian wax done today, the total was 70 bucks... I tipped the girl 15 dollars? Is this enough? Too much? How much should I tip the lady that does my Brazilian wax?
if she did a great job and you were happy with it then $15 is perfect. If she did an okay job and you were still fairly happy with it then $10. $5 if she made you feel uncomfortable or any other minor problem. How much should I tip the lady that does my Brazilian wax?
ewww that just sounds painful i get my eyebrowns done but i take care of everything else myself, i cant imagine doing that your crazy! But yea you over tipped. But like the other person said she'll do a good job if you go back cause of you being a high tipper.
I think you tipped her more than enough. But it doesn't hurt to over tip. She'll be happy. and if you go back to her, she's likely to do a really good job cuz u gave a big tip!
    a few dollhairs is plenty
why do u have to tip? your already paying $70, i pay $40 although im in australia and dont where u are

How long does it have to be to get a Brazilian wax?

How long will it be irritated the first time i get one done? How long does it have to be to get a Brazilian wax?
I believe it has to be about 1/4 of an inch. Call the place that your'e going to, and just ask. They won't want to schedule you if it's not long enough, and wouldn't be a positive experience, or wouldn't be able to do it. I usually get them, and I think it is 1/4 of an inch. it usually isn't irritated either. Maybe a few red spots, but the results are well worth it. When it starts to grow back, it is a bit itchy, that is about all the irritation I noticed. When you go, make sure your waxer knows what you want/like, regarding to how much, (some people leave a little strip) and where, ie including your posterior. :)

Compared to a Brazilian wax, how painful is Brazilian laser hair removal?

I know pain tolerance varies from person to person, especially with laser hair removal. I have dark hair and light skin, which does make a huge difference, I'm told. Please share your experiences. Thanks!Compared to a Brazilian wax, how painful is Brazilian laser hair removal?

Or is there a salon in KY that does that?Where can I get wax to do brazilian waxes at home?
I don't know if there is a salon in KY but you could always check the phone book and call around. You can go to Sally Beauty Supply and see if they have stuff for you to use. Have someone help you do the waxing, if you do it alone you will not be able to pull the skin tight and it will hurt more or even worse you won't pull off any hair. What is the difference between a bikini wax and a brazilian wax?

BIKINI WAX-- the hair that would normally poke out along the side of your bikini/underwear is waxed off.

BRAZILIAN WAX- Most of the hair is waxed off except for a two finger strip each side and on top the whole way around.

XXX WAX- All the hair is removed from all over the genital area, you can choose whether you want it removed from the back (inner buttocks and hole) or not

People will most often always mistake a Brazilian for a XXX it is just that for us at salons it is nicer to advertise that you do Brazilian Waxes rather than calling it XXX - it can sound a bit porn star-ish, so usually a Brazilian is a XXX but just ensure that you tell your Beauty Therapist which you prefer. What is the difference between a bikini wax and a brazilian wax?

It's really not that bad. I mean.. yeah someone's staring at your goodies but your waxer does it for a living. They're used to it.

As for pain... it's also not that bad. It hurts about a little more than getting your eyebrows waxed. I always take two ibuprofen a half an hour before I go. That REALLY helps with the pain.

I've never had one, but I think I know what it's like.

It's almost like having a PAP smear, but way different. It's humiliating lying on a table there naked from the waist down, but after a couple minutes, you'll be thinking more about the pain. Tell the person who's doing it that it's your first time. I know a girl who got it done for the first time, and the lady started off with a bikini wax, and then took off more and more hair, but she did it evenly. So, like, if my friend wanted to stop, it would look like she went in to get it done like that.
    More painful than embarassing.
If your esthetician is a professional, he/she will know how to make you more comfortable. Make sure he/she knows that it's your first Brazilian and that you're nervous. Yes, it will hurt no matter how talented the esthetician is. No, you don't have to feel embarrassed - it's like going to the doctor. Do trim the hair down a bit before you go. It'll make it faster and easier once you get there..... but be sure to leave at least 1/4 inch of hair so the wax can get a good ';grip.'; Get a good after-wax toner (like Tend Skin) to help soothe your newly waxed skin and prevent ingrown hairs later.
nothing embarrassing will happen. the waxer is a professional and has probably seen everything. it hurts, but it's worth it. much easier than shaving over time. good luck and enjoy!
On a pain scale of 1-10....... 11. You get over the embarrasment the second the first strip is pulled and then it's all about the pain.

How Young Is Too Young To Be Getting A Brazilian Wax?

I'm a 15 year old girl, and thinking about getting one done, do you think thats too young?

It's not for sex or anything I am just a kind of hairy person in general and i just really dislike the hair down there. How Young Is Too Young To Be Getting A Brazilian Wax?
Yeah, I would wait a bit for that. If you have a good realtionship with your mom have her trim your area with some scissors just so that your hair is not hanging out all over the place.

If not and you have really good hands then you can give yourself a quick little trim while looking in the bathroom mirror and maybe use a handmirror as well. They also have some tools that help with this as well on the market in regular stores as well now.How Young Is Too Young To Be Getting A Brazilian Wax?
    it's not about age actually.

it's about what you prefer, having a flawless, hairless part is your option and i think it is normal and good for you to try it.

but better have it done by professionals, and you should be well aware of how it is done. watch some videos about it and see the advantages and disadvantages of having a brazilian wax.
me too lol i was thinking the same thing i mean i don't think i would do Brazilian i want it all gone but i think about how awkward it would be to go have someone wax it for you haha....there's always at home waxing kits but i would be afraid to screw up but i say go for it
    Just do it.

i hate it too, it's the worst thing ever if you have to keep on shaving all the time!

How to use Brazilian Wax for the FIRST time?

Ok I'm fourteen years old and trying out brazilian wax on my bikini line and underarms for the FIRST time. I need tips, pain level, and cautions. I have course hair and sensitive skin the product I have is called GiGi Brazilian Bikini Wax. Please give me advice!?How to use Brazilian Wax for the FIRST time?
First, you must be sure that you want to get a brzailian bikini wax. Consider trying first the standard bikini wax which will remove the hair from your bikini line or the full bikini which will remove most of your pubic hair apart from the most sensitive areas. A brazilian bikini wax removes ALL your pubic hair.

I advice you to get your first brazilian bikini wax by a professional. Many women who try to give themselves a brazilian bikini wax, cause damage and their bikini area looks worse after the brazilian wax.

You could find a salon that offers a brazilian bikini wax in any big US city. Just look in the ';Yellow pages'; or in any search engine for ';brazilian wax'; + ';name of your city';.

After locating a salon, find out how many brazilian waxes they do a week? Make sure that the persons who are responsible for the brazilian bikini wax are experienced. Ask to talk to customers that got a brazilian bikini wax from the same salon.

Open your purse. A brazilian bikini wax may cost up to 100 US dollars. However, the average cost is about 50 bucks. We advice you pay not less than the average price to get a professional treatment.

Come to your scheduled treatment with a good mood after taking a warm shower cleaning your pubic area.

You will get into a separate room or a hole with a curtain. Then you will lie on a bed with your knees up or legs down.

Then, the therapist will trim down your pubic hair with scissors to a length of about a quarter inch.

Afterwards, the real thing will start. The waxer will start the waxing process. He will use a low temperature wax to cause less pain. When the wax cools he will pull it out with your pubic hair. This part is the most painful one. However, the first time is the most painful one. The hair can be pulled out easier in the following times.

The waxer will ask you to get into some weird uncomfortable positions 锟?holding your legs up, to the side and even over your head.

If the waxer is a good one the painful part will end quickly. If you feel it takes too long or that the pain is unbearable, just tell the therapist that you need a little rest.

When the waxing is done a soothing lotion should be applied to the pubic area.

Your bikini area will stay smooth for at least 3 weeks with no maintenance at all. Make the most out of it.

911 Corp. executed an independent research to find the best method for removing pubic hair. The results were clear. Find out more methods for removing pubic hair and more about brazilian wax on Brazilian wax and more.

How many women truly get a brazilian wax?

This is a serious question, not a perverted one. So when your about to do the horizontal rump with your partner, how many of you girls like to get a brazilian wax done. What are the advantages of a Brazilian wax over shaving?

Most young women would be embarassed now to get their panties off with a man with all their pubes still in place. A Brazilian gets it all off from front to back, but it's like up to $40. Shaving takes more time and effort and it grows back quicker, but it's cheap. And is there anybody still out there who still thinks it's OK to put out with a boy with all their pube still there - yuk!?What are the advantages of a Brazilian wax over shaving?
Having pubes is disgusting! A brazilian is better because it makes the whole area soft and supple. Much better for oral. What are the advantages of a Brazilian wax over shaving?
NOTHATS WHY U ASK FOR A WOMAN.
I'm a shaver, only for the reason that no one in my area offers brazilian waxing for under $50.

I love waxing (other people) in the salon, but I can't quite get up the nerve to wax MYSELF.

But no, I don't want to undress in front of anyone with things gone wild. People should at least trim, for gods sake.
    it lasts longer
Believe it or not, most women don't shave or wax. Pubic hair on a woman is as natural as it is on a man. This is just a fashion thing, and it will pass like the others. But to answer your question, waxing is quicker, lasts a lot longer, and doesn't cause razor burn or the risk of cuts in sensitive areas.
Any guy will take it but if you really want to give him what he wants then go Braziliian. I'm willing to bet 99 out of 100 prefer no hair. Much softer and to be honest most men really want to see everything, we love how you look down there. Also a little known fact the reason we have pubic hair is for scent retention. It's the animal in us, ..... talk about gross I don't want any scent retention and I don't think women do either! So men join together and take out the shears!
I'd never let a guy see me with pubes - urgh! I get a brazilian wax once a month. It stays smooth for over 3 weeks, no irritation and it makes the skin better around that area - kind of softer. They look and feel really sexy and the guys love it! I highly recommend getting one.

What is the best product to use for a brazilian wax, and does it hurt really bad?

I wanted to try it at home and wondered what the best thing to use was. and also wondered if it was really painful? What is the best product to use for a brazilian wax, and does it hurt really bad?
I do it at home once a month, and it is not so bad at all. I started out with a simple bikini wax and worked my way towards a Brazilian, as it can be time-consuming. So, as you get used to it it not only becomes less painful (I watch TV as I do it, and it's no big deal) but it becomes quicker.

I don't use any special brand. Wax is wax to me. Cheap it neat. Though, I'm sure to get something that comes with soothing oil for afterward. What is the best product to use for a brazilian wax, and does it hurt really bad?
i have been waxing most of my body, including the butt and brazilian, and have noticed that the hairs come back shorter, finer, more sparse, and take longer to grow out with each waxing session...these waxings i have been doing for a little over a year and have noticed a SIGNIFICANT difference!!! =)

whenever I get all those areas waxed it the bill comes out a little over $100 plus tip.

regarding the pain, it hurts at first, but not as much with each additional waxing session. the pain level for your first time will probably be an 8...next time a 6, than 4, maybe 2, and just 1 to none from then on. as everybody else knows, go to a professional and they will have creams. its much better to wax though since the results are long term and your skin will be baby soft/smooth for a long time =)

after waxing a few times some hairs will stop growing back, however, for permanent results you may wanna try laser hair removal. after the first session i noticed that in some areas the hair did not grow back at all!! try it if you would like, its gonna cost ya a pretty penny, but its painless and the results last forever. because each persons' skin type is different you may have to get multiple treatments for all thair to be gone. on average you need 5 to 6 treatments.

Please don't waste your time telling me that it hurts or whatever, I'm well aware of that and I just want the information that was asked for.

Thank you!Does anyone know if there is an age limit for getting a Brazilian wax at a salon?
usually there is no age limit, in fact the women who do my brazillian actually tell me that it is the best thing to happen to women of th etwenty first century. Plus the women who does mine has a ballet daughter and waxes hers for her daughter so shes totally confortable doing brazillians. By the way I had my first brazillian when I was 15, I never regretted it although you will have to worry about in groun hairs. They look like pimiple and feel weird!Does anyone know if there is an age limit for getting a Brazilian wax at a salon?
Most salons call it a XXX wax thus they wont peform a treatment like that on minors especialy as it involves gentals.

Some salons will peform a brazilian on some one under 18 with a parent present in the salon aslong as the customers age is within reason.
    lol, You go girl!

I think it's up to the salon, and you probably have to be 16, but I'm not sure. I don't think there's any law or anything. I know I've never had to sign a waiver, that's for sure, but I''m 25 and I look it.

Sorry I can't be more help. You probably should just go ahead and call around to find out. It might be different from place to place.

    good luck!

yeah, people are supposed to just answer questions on here, but a lot of them get quite snippy... welcome to Y!A
    my guess 16
I never heard about brazilian wax is about what?
I don't think there's a limit but then again young girls would never thought of getting that. It wouldn't be in their thinking. They would have never thought of that until maybe they're in college and beyond.
You are obviously underage, or this question would never have been asked. You should be aware, then that there will be parental consent required. You are being rude to the people who are trying to help, and the last post brought up a great point- you are too young for this to be something your parents would agree with. Besides, if they were going to agree, you would not be asking.

So, what you need to know:

Your parent must sign a release form for medical and legal responsibility because deadly infections can arise from waxing in salons. You could also get burns. even if you were old enough, you would have to release the salon from responsibility.

If you were to decide to get around it and pretend you were older or a friend was ';mom';, there would be consequences.

If caught, you could be charged with fraud, as could your buddy who played mom. In fact, buddie would do time for fraud %26amp; forgery, and for endangering a minor.

The salon could lose its license.

Think before you act, teens are often too self absorbed to think of the outcome- its biologically set up that way, but you are still responsible for your actions.

Go ask mom, you'll need her to sign for you.

How often to get a Brazilian wax?

I just got my first Brazilian wax about two weeks ago, and I already want to go back and get another one! My question is, will the hair eventually be slower to grow back? Cause two weeks just isn't worth the money. Unless, with a few waxes done, the hair growth is stunted. How often to get a Brazilian wax?
How much pain can you stand for the sake of beauty? How often to get a Brazilian wax?
I have been getting a Brazilian for 11 years now. I am also licensed to wax. You will go back in 3-4 weeks. I recommend 4 weeks for the first 3 waxes. As you continue to go you will see more even growth pattern. If you go back now you will have longer hairs next week. It is well worth the money!! I started paying $60 now 11 years later I only pay $25. Your esthetician will probably lower your price. Don`t be afraid to ask her. You will thin out with every wax. Just be patient:o)

OH!! and the pain get less painful. probably by your fith wax.

How often where when and how much will it cost when it comes to a brazilian wax?

    How much will it cost?

    Where should I go?

How often should I get it redone? How often where when and how much will it cost when it comes to a brazilian wax?
It'll prob cost anywhere between 30-40 dollars depending on the salon

go to any salon or spa that you can trust and you know is clean and hygenic

the hair will grow back faster the first time you get it done but after a while it gets thinner and thinner so about every 2 months. some parts grow in faster then others though so it may need some maintainence between waxings

I get the procedure done and in the long run it's much less painful than constant razor burn

I'd advise taking an advil half an hour before you get it done though

happy waxing :)How often where when and how much will it cost when it comes to a brazilian wax?
    About $30-50

    Definately a salon

About once a month, but perhaps slightly sooner if the hair is getting out of control.

Brazilian waxing is a type of waxing involving the bikini area. This procedure involves the complete removal of hair from the buttocks and adjacent to the anus, perineum and vulva (labia majora and mons pubis). It can be thought of as a more extreme form of bikini waxing. The majority of types of Brazilian waxing leave a small line of pubic hair above the vulva, commonly known as the ';G-Wax'; or just ';Brazilian';. Waxes that completely remove the pubic hair are either termed ';Hollywood'; or ';Sphynx'; depending on the salon visited. Sometimes the term Full Brazilian Wax, Full Bikini Wax or FBW or eBodyWax is used. While mainly associated with females, the practice is engaged in by males as well. It is named after Brazil, the country with which it is most often associated and from which the modern practice originated.
PAIN...in any language is still the same.

How to act during a brazilian wax?

I'm getting one done for the first time in a few weeks, and I've done my research on the procedure...take some aspirin, how long to grow the hair, etc. I want to know if it's ok to lay there quietly, and how can I appropriately express my discomfort...I'm not going to whine...I just need to know how as a client I can make things go smoothly for my esthetician.

Just tell her - I am really nervous, or say thats too hot, or that really hurts, we don't know if you don't say it. Don't be dramatic or playful just say what you mean. How to act during a brazilian wax?
for me, if its really bad i just say a calm ouch.

using my leg will kinda kick straight out if it hurts alot.

if its easier for you to take the pain if you are quite, be quite, i go to the same person every time so i am usually talking to them, which keeps me distracted.
I'm sure they've seen it all if they are experienced. Do what you have to do! Personally I would be screaming bloody murder, which is why I will never be getting any kind of waxing. I prefer cream hair removers that cause no pain.
    Do the cha-cha-cha.
Oh wow i feel for u!

Try not to scream bloody murdor.
