How bad does a brazilian wax hurt?

Also how often should you get them, and how much do they normally cost? How bad does a brazilian wax hurt?
How much a brazilian, or any wax, hurts depends partly on your pain threshold. But there are things you can do to help. Take an anti-inflammatory, like ibuprofen, about an hour before your appointment. You could also try a numbing spray (my sister gave me one to try once), but those don't always work. Generally, the pain is mostly at the moment when the hair is ripped out, and then subsides quite a lot, and taking ibuprofen will help with the ache afterwards.

How much they cost depends on the salon. I've only gotten a brazilian a couple times, and the cost was around $45, plus tip. How often you get them depends on you. Some people get them all the time, others only for very special occasions.

If you're nervous about getting all the hair removed down there, you can also do what's called a brazilian-in-training. They remove all the hair in your bikini area, all the hair in the area around your genitals, and then most of the hair on the front of the pubic bone except for a strip up the middle, which is the most sensitive area anyway. So you can save yourself some discomfort that way, especially if it's your first time getting waxed. How bad does a brazilian wax hurt?
I can imagine it will seriously hurt and you'll CRY. I have pulled one single pubic hair on an accident once, and the pain was so bad it brought tears to my eyes, so I can't even fathom the thought of yanking them ALL out by the roots.

Just use clippers and trim your pubes down real nice, they don't have to be jerked out by the roots. That's torture!

You can also use Nair, Nair works really well, and there is no pain involved. Don't leave it on too long. If you are Nair-ing your pubes you only leave it on for about 3 minutes. The Nair will not get all the hair off in the first application, but it's still better than getting a Brazillian. lol

Get your body used to using Nair, then use it again for another 3 minutes a few days later. Then Voila, hair GONE! lol

:o)
You should get them as often as you need them... If you shave you should wait about two weeks before you go in to get waxed.

The range of cost is anywhere from 50-75$

Plus you gotta think about tip

And the pain..it all depends on your tolerance for it. Im not going to lie to you..its not a walk in the park...
first time hurts a fair deal, after that it gets better! i get mine done once a month now. the hair is thiner, lighter and its less painful now.. i also pluck the few strays throughout the month. tips: dont go a few days before or after your period starts or while your on your period.. more painful skin is more sensitive.

The place i go, with tip is $40
I'm getting one done next week! I'm due to give birth at the end of next week and dont wana go in with a big hairy bush! I haven't been able to reach for the last couple of months so I feel sorry for the beautician! I'm guessing it wont hurt as much as childbirth! Good luck!
The first one hurts like hell. After that, the more regularly you do them (I do mine once a month) the finer the hair grows and it doesn't hurt nearly as much. Expect to pay between 30-60$.
don't think about the pain. I think it's about every 3 weeks and you have to let the hair grow back out a little before you wax again. I think price depends on where you live. Good luck!
its stings... it only hurts real bad on one part. Right above the clit... I had to get my once a month and it cost around $50.
