Is it true that a woman died from getting a brazilian wax?

i got one once and it was absolutely horrific - i felt like i knew what being tortured was like. i would never do it again b/c the pain was so bad but now i read that women are getting really sick from them and some state banned them?Is it true that a woman died from getting a brazilian wax?
It's possible, removing pubic hair can lead to an infection, like when you shave and your hair follicle bleeds, that goes for waxing too,and plus having it done in a public place where billions of germs are lurking. Not to mention the excruciating pain that it causes.

Pubic hair is there for a reason,to protect the sensitive skin and keep out mucousIs it true that a woman died from getting a brazilian wax?
It's harmless if rather painful the first time. Subsequent waxings are much less painful.

Of course you have to observe sensible hygiene. Otherwise wax away - the results are well worth the pain.
i think it was just an exageration. i mean, when i stub my toe or osmething i curse and said i just died..
