A few questions about Brazilian waxing?

At what age do girls usually start getting Brazilian waxes?

How much do they usually cost?

Where can you go to get one, or must you do it yourself?

Is there any downside to getting one?

And of course, how badly did it hurt? (Gulp.)A few questions about Brazilian waxing?
I got my first Brazilian last year and I was 22! It's a personal decision and there's no right ';age'; to get one...

Expect to pay $50-$90 dollars, depending on where you go. My place charges 50 + 15% tip.

Go to a salon...if they do bikini waxes, chances are they do Brazilians too. Just make sure that wherever you go is CLEAN, and professional! You don't want to wax your privates at a place that re-uses application sticks and towels! EW!

Itching and bumps while the hair is growing back is the biggest downside. If your pubic hair is very coarse/curly you run the risk of ingrowns and bumps. To avoid this, vigorously exfoliate the area with a loofa or exfoliating glove. Do this every day starting two or three days after the wax. Applying Tend Skin to the area greatly reduces the risk of bumps and keeps your skin smooth and soft. As your waxer about it.

If you've never had a Brazilian before, the first time will HURT! But that will be the worst of it. Every wax after that becomes less and less painful! Good luck!A few questions about Brazilian waxing?
You probably have to be 18, since they're going to be looking at and touching your most personal area, though you can probably get it done younger if you're accompanied by a parent. You can't do it properly yourself, you just can't get at the right angle to get it completely clean. Most spas have waxing services that do brazilians. Just google spas waxing and put your location and they will give you a list of places that do it, as well as the prices. The salons around here charge $70 for a brazilian. Only downsides I can think of is that it's embarassing to have a stranger touching and looking at you down there. There is the risk of getting ingrown hairs, but you also risk that with shaving. You can also exfoliate the area to prevent ingrown hairs. It also hurts like hell the first time. But, there are ways to minimize the pain. You can buy numbing sprays from wal mart, take tylenol (not aspirin or any blood thinners!) and just grit your teeth and bare it. You'll love the results, and it's worth the pain. Plus, the more you do it, the less it hurts each time.
1. When they are growing hair down there AND can afford the $75 it costs.

2. Between $60 and $100

3. Some Spas and Massage Parlors

4. When it grows back in, it can get pretty itchy. And you have to let the hair grow out for a while before you can get it waxed because the wax can't grab short hairs.

5. It doesn't hurt as bad as you would think, from what I hear. If you're fond of being hairless, it would be worth it. You'll be literally hair-free (no stubble even) down there for usually around 2 weeks.
They aren't cheap. about $180. If I were you I'd shave. I've been ';grooming'; since I turned 13. Every other day take care of it. It only takes 8 minutes. Who can't spare 8 minutes?
