I stop shaving since last tuesday I have an appointment tommorrow friday at 12 noon is should that be long enough for a brazilian wax ?When is the best time to have a Brazilian wax How long should my hair be?
Should be enough for the wax to grab. I would say about 1/2 inchWhen is the best time to have a Brazilian wax How long should my hair be?
Every ones hair grows differently but you should be ready buy 6 weeks and if this is your first time then you should not shave for at least 2 weeks before your waxing
ouch
you need at least a 1/4'; of hair for the wax to grab onto. I definitely wouldn't go if you're pre-menstrual. that's a very bad time to have your hair ripped out b/c your hair follicles and nerve-endings are much more sensitive to pain.
Last Tuesday as in 2 days ago or last tuesday as in 9 days ago? If it was 9 days ago, you probably have enough hair. Is this your first time? Take a couple of Advil (it is a pain reliever and an anti-inflammatory) and make sure it isn't right before your period. Your skin is more sensitive during the 3-4 days before your period. Good luck! You will be addicted once you get over the pain :)
The best length for your hair before waxing is about 1/4 inch. That's long enough for the wax to grab it, but not too long that it all gets in the way. Sounds like yours might be on the short end. Probably some of the really short hair might get missed this time around, and you might see regrowth really soon. Go for another waxing in about 6 weeks, and after that one you'll be spotless.

Also, the worst time to get waxed is right before or during your period, because it tends to hurt a lot more then. Make sure to drink plenty of water today and tomorrow - being well-hydrated helps it hurt less. If you can, take 2 ibuprofen about an hour before your appointment. If your salon sells an anti-bump/in-grown hair application, buy it and use it every morning and night. It'll help a lot, but be prepared to tweeze some in about a week.

Enjoy!
