The Brazilian leaves you with a skinny little ';landing strip'; of hair but they wax EVERYTHING else (I'm talking places where you think hair didn't even grow!). Hollywood leaves you bald as a baby--NO hair WHATSOEVER anywhere down there. If you're thinking of a wax, make sure you take a few painkillers (aspirin) an hour before, and that you've showered and exfoliated down there. It will leave you with less follicule clogging (sometimes when they rip off the hair, they don't get the root and you can end up with ingrown hairs) and nicer results for your money. Don't take aspirin! It dilates your blood vessels and thins your blood and makes you more prone to bruising. Take advil, which is anti-inflammatory.

Brazilian waxing tends to leave a strip of hair over the genital area. Hollywood tends to remove it all. Ouch.
They are the same thing.
