it's so easy, especially once you've gotten it done a few times, because the hair eventually takes longer to grow back, so it's smoother longer. It does hurt a bit (that's also dependent on the person as well) and it's a bit awkward, but if you go to a salon where you are comfortable and keep going back once you find someone professional, then you won't even think about it, you go in, get waxed and go! It actually gets less painful the more you do it. Pain may also depend on the person performing the waxing. Also good to put a light dusting of baby powder over the area so wax sticks to your hair and not your skin. If you're really scared of the pain you can get an anesthetic spray for about $10 at Sally Beauty Supply.

Im not gonna lie...It hurts like he!!...However its just for a short amount of time...Its over with pretty quick I would always recommend waxing over anything else. Its much smoother..no ingrown hairs, and it grows back finer and finer each time you do it.(And gets easier each time) Lasts MUCH longer than shaving...I was talked into it, and I will never shave again...good luck :)
if you just want to know how to get rid of the pain: pretty sure all the pain wont be gone but take some pain killers before you go (i'm sure the salon that you're going to will recommend it.)
i havent gotten one either (i would like to.. but my mama hasnt taken me ..yes i'm 15..) but i do know about it
and its not like your legs are spread wide open, they do one side at a time. and its clean (as long as you go to a good salon)
remember, they're pros so dont feel uncomfortable. they know what they're doing and have done it to many people.
